The droppings shown on these pages are only a small portion of what is left for the urban fairies.

The holidays can get pretty kooky!
This year is no exception.

Today I came across three small but HEAVY boxes...
When opened I found HEAPS of coins and a message.
The message reads:

Thankee kindly for
all the shiney metal
discees..... can't find
much use for 'em...
so I betchee yoo
can mebbee träd
the(m) for sum peepul
füd for thös whoo
haven't so much, eh?
SO... this explains something about what the urban fairies "do" with the coins left as droppings.

Serendipitously, I was listening to 107.1 FM and they were
"Rockin' for the Hungry"
at BUSCH's for Food Gatherers!

So off I went to pass along the fairies donation.
I left a few posters and Greeting cards to hopefully entice others to drop off food or monitary donations...

and wrote a check, myself, so that the winged little vermin wouldn't be showing me up! (though I have no idea how much cash was mixed in with the gem stones...together they weighed nearly 8 pounds)

Rockin' for the Hungry 2006
is December 6th-10th. Weds-Sat 7am-7pm, Sun 10am-3pm.

Once again, Ann Arbor's 107one FM and Busch's will team up to hold the largest annual outdoor food drive benefiting Food Gatherers. Bring your nonperishable donations to Busch's on Main Street or take advantage of in-store specials and pick up some extra items to donate. Financial gifts (cash/check/credit card) to purchase food are also welcome. For more information, call 734-761-2796 or email missy@foodgatherers.org. .
The FROZEN Adam Rey
Adam was kind enopugh to let me read the fairies' note on air.
The Urban Fairies' donation...
3 HEAVY boxes with coins and
"gem stones"
The candies left behind suffered a bit from the precipitation.

The next morning it appeared that the fairies had converted all the coins at Sweetwaters into red confetti!

Kathleen & I were taking some publishers on a fairy door tour. We saw the following (pictured above) at Sweetwaters:

"XOX" tickets, tic tacs (for fairy fresh breath),
various coinage, a sea shell and a box.

On closer inspection one can read:

By golly there was a cake!

The Bride & Groom on the threshold ofa new beginning... or waiting to get into Selo-Shevel for a reception?

A traditional wedding gift?
Perhaps unrelated?
I like how the Bride appears to be looking at the Groom.
