The droppings shown on these pages are only a small portion of what is left for the urban fairies.

The Fairies did it again! December 2007
Out of curiousity.. I counted it before putting it back in the box.

I've misplaced my notes on that,
but I believe that is

$ 35.65

Again this explains something about what the urban fairies "do" with the coins left as droppings. For the 2nd year in a row

So off I went to pass along the fairies donation.
I left a few posters and Greeting cards to hopefully entice others to drop off food or monitary donations...

and wrote a check, myself, so that the winged little vermin wouldn't be showing me up!

Rockin' for the Hungry 2007

Once again, Ann Arbor's 107one FM and Busch's will team up to hold the largest annual outdoor food drive benefiting Food Gatherers. Bring your nonperishable donations to Busch's on Main Street or take advantage of in-store specials and pick up some extra items to donate. Financial gifts (cash/check/credit card) to purchase food are also welcome. For more information, call 734-761-2796 or email missy@foodgatherers.org. .
I suppose it is becoming a tradition! December 2008
Rockin' for the Hungry

This year's event will take place
December 3rd-7th, 2008!

Weds-Sat 7am-7pm, Sun 10am-3pm
at
BUSCH's S. Main St. store in Ann Arbor

Every year during the busy holiday food drive season, ann arbor's 107one FM and
Busch’s team up to hold the largest annual food drive benefiting Food Gatherers. This event has evolved over the years, but the goal is still the same: collect as much food and funds as possible to help our neighbors in need. Our goal this year is 170 tons of nutritious food.
Again out of curiousity.. I counted it before putting it back in the box.

$ 96.88 !

it weighed in at

19 POUNDS!!
(that's weight not value in £ )

I did feel obliged to wash the coins as there was quite a bit of sticky Gummi Bear and Jelly Bean residue!
The Note reads:

cleenin' housie!
requirring mor
fairy friendz to
fly this over.
peoples still leevin
moniees at oor dors.
and we stillhav
no use for them.
See ief yoo can

I can't say that I would endorse this sort of dropping for the fairies!
They might like it, but I doubt we should encourage it. I am sure they are goofy enough without any enhancement.
