Mythical Creatures of Ann Arbor at the Sunday Artisan Market Jul 13 at 11:00am to 4:00pm Mythical Creatures of Ann Arbor. Dragons, Fairies and Werewolves … Oh My! Join us for a day to celebrate all things mythical and mysterious. Visit with local artisans who create whimsical dragons, fairy doors, stone garden creatures, loveable monster dolls and much more. Special Guests will include: Sidewalk artist, David Zinn who will lead visitors on a marvelous adventure with his pal Sluggo, while sharing his views on temporary art. Ann Arbor’s own fairyologist, Jonathan Wright, will hold a story and Q&A session on all things fairy at 1:30pm. You can even become a certified fairyologist for a small fee! The Violin Monster, who many have seen wearing his infamous werewolf mask, will stroll the market playing some amazing music while giving a few scares. |

Jonathan is currently writing several books on the fairies in collaboration with his wife, Kathleen, who coincidentally has found a fairy door in her kindergarten classroom. Hopefully it will be fun and informative to come back and see what's new with the Urban Fairies of Ann Arbor.
