Kerry Town Book Festival.
Sunday, September 13, 2009. 11am-5PM

I had custody of the UFO Cumooter. I had books to sign and sell, as well as Fairy Doors of Ann Arbor posters, and cards, some fairy prints. Several people took the Fairyologist application test & became certified... and of course there was plenty of talk about fairies.

Nice weather for the book fest.

People were equally interested in the

The UFO Cumooter was there for it's 3rd year!

The entry and fee from PeZz.

Apparently, the registration fee for fairies is 1/100th of the regular registration fee.

The Cumooter ended up between two gas guzzlers!

Luckily, dodged a ticket! I don't think the cumooter has current tabs!
It DOES have a Michigan Vanity plate, however.

At Wurster Park

I was there to talk about urban fairies and fairy doors and hand out some free postcards and worked on a water color of a fairy.

The UFO Cumooter was there, as well as my recently acquired Fairyologist Certificate.

LaRon Williams told stories, there were activities and firefighters & their truck from the Ann Arbor Fire Department, animals...

I could not locate our folding card table, so I ended up setting up on a bench.
It worked out fine, all the othre activities were to the south (left of the bench).

This is the fairy watercolor that I worked on a bit. She is holding a coin that I saw as a fairy dropping. I think that she doesn't look much like an "urban fairy",
but I was just goofing around. So I wouldn't Take this as necessarily representative.

Jackson Fairy Festival 2009

Fairy Festival 04/25 to 04/26 2009. 634 N. Mechanic - Jackson, MI

I was there on Saturday, April 25 from 11AM-5PM

I was selling and signing (with illustration... when requested and time allowed) copies of, my award winning book, "Who's Behind the Fairy Doors?". I also had the 2nd edition Fairy Doors of Ann Arbor posters for sale.

The UFO Cumooter was there, as well as my recently acquired Fairyologist Certificate.

Delaney agreed to be my assistant... she' s there behind my Fairyologist Certificate.

...speaking of Fairyologist Certificates! > Olivia was one of the first to become certified.

MARCH 27, 6-8 PM

at Artistica Gallery and Shop in Dexter, MIchigan

there was an Art, Wine, and Cheese event & chance to check out the fairy door creations there.

I went and had copies of "Who's Behind the Fairy Doors?"

for sale and I signed (with a fairy illustration) a bunch of copies.
I met some really wondeful people, including a Scotish couple who just got their green cards and a charming yound lady who won 1st place for her fairy door creation. As part of her prize she got to select a signed copy of my book with the fairy illustration that she liked best.
