When I first photographed the fairy ticket window, a sign proclaimed they were "sold out"
Later there were self-serve tickets being dispensed.
The event featured is
"A Midsummer's Night Dream"
Track Ticket > "sales"
Saturday, October 15
in the morning
"A Midsummer's Night Dream"
was "sold out"
That same evening I was downtown and there was a new "show" (?)
"the Beetles"
Speaking of tickets! I have noticed that VERY often the tickets are stuck behind the glass. I'd think it would be annoying to the fairies to reset the tickets. A simple lesson in self-serving tickets is past due.
NOW lookee this!:

I just happen to stumble onto this pic of a sprite, Fiona using IMPECCABLE ticket taking technique!

She is not likely to leave the remaining tickets stuck behind glass.

Here are Fiona's mom's comments on the picture:

Fiona getting her fairy ticket. It's rather mysterious. It says, X, Y, and 1/12,
and there is a picture of a scarab and what looks like "The Beetles" in script.

We got so distracted by the fairy ticket that we didn't round the corner and look at the door.
Also, there is a weird reflection of a raindrop or something on this photo. It was a good afternoon for fairy doors,
but not much for photography.

Sped up by the incident below, the 3rd style of fairy tickets have appeared.

01.04.06

I found a penny resting on the end of a ticket just behind the glass. The tickets were restored to dispensing mode shortly afterward.

01.12.06

I was disappointed to find a gazillion* tickets on the sidewalk.

*One hundred nineteen (#153831-153950)

This made me wonder if fairies are vindictive...? I have read about brownies turning milk sour when wronged. If some drunk did this would the fairies go and pee in his beer
... and would he notice?
