Raccoons & Borders and Barnes&Noble oh my! I broke down and added some links to places to BUY fairy doors. I am not associated with the doors they sell and do not receive any money for the links for what they sell, I am only posting them as a courtesy to those who ask... and of course to "get those inquiring minds off my back". heehee. This post is NOT complete (11:15am, 6.01.07) I just have to attend to some other business.. ~jbw |

What do I look like, Jack Hannah? So Friday it was the Toddler raccoons who got of the Ann Arbor Subway at the wrong stop and then had to go into the witness relocation system. Then it was a bat flying around in the house. Back to Friday, Borders Store #1 (the first store), dwontown Ann Arbor is now carrying "Who's Behind the Fairy Doors?". And we are organizing a storyteller/booksigning for Barnes & Noble in July. We got to meet Patricia Polacco (author/illustrator of a bazillion great books!) when she visited. ~jbw |

The "LadysNite" tickets are all gone from the Ark, with none replacing them... yet.
I built a display for "Who's Behind the Fairy Doors?" for Sweetwaters Café. I was kinda monopolizing counter space and Lisa & Wei have been kind enough to allow me to sell non-coffee product there so I wanted something nice. (the other businesses are geared toward that sort of thing). ~jbw |

Well, I made a best sellers list! (I mean a MADE a best sellers list). After all, The New York Times made up their own Best Seller List. I stumbled across yet another fairy door downtown. Some goofy happenings at Red Shoes Homegoods. ~jbw |

I'm now appearing on the "local authors" page on Nicola's Books web-site... (using the classic double hand on face pose... I noticed a lot of authors use the single hand to face pose). A book signing is coming up next month: 7-7-07, 10:00am at Sweetwaters Café. ~jbw |

I stopped by the Jefferson Market this morning to talk to the owner. Apparently there is at least one sad, sorry individual with burnt fingers wandering the neighborhood. The new fairy door was torched the other night. I called the police this morning to report it. Of course it could be fireflies.

I have word that PeZz has, once again, entered The Rolling Sculpture Car Show with his 2006 UFO Cumooter ~ the Alternative fuel (Vernors with Mentos oberthruster) fairy mobile. Maybe he will show up to demonstrate the vehicle this year?
