The Hallway is where it all started for us. The wall is adjacent to the stairwell and used to be an exterior wall. When we made an addition to the house, the hallway was added and I moved the closet door to this location from the end. To maximize the wedge of space in the closet, I added a child size door for the child care kids. Not long after, the kids discovered the weensie door in the baseboard.

Several times a year,
Kathleen (aka Mrs. Wright) brings her kindergarteners on field trips to our house. September 25, 2006 was one of these trips. Here are some shots of the kids peeking into the hallway fairy door. (other shots are on the fireplace page) |
