YAY! It looks like Jackson, Michigan will be continuing their Fairy Festival this year! They even invited me back. I'll have copies of "Who's Behind the Fairys Doors?" to sign and adda drawing (if there is time and interest). I received an e-mail that included a photo which may or may not have captured a fairy likeness! Also there are some suspicious fairy happenings brewing in Dexteropolis, Michigan. It sounds as if they are trying to lure fairies there! I hope they are careful... once you get fairies, it is tough to get rid of them! Some can be quite mischievious. |

Finally updated the tour map. HOPEFULLY this Spring there will be more doors (and repaired doors) to tour, rather than less. | ||||||||

This Friday, February 27, 6-8 PM at Artistica Gallery and Shop in Dexter, MIchigan there will be an Art, Wine, and Cheese event and chance to check out the fairy door creations there. I'll be there. |

This is where it (fairy doors) all began — the concept, the phenomenon. This site is all about the Fairy Doors in Ann Arbor, Michigan (the original fairy doors) and what illustrator, Jonathan b. Jonathan is currently writing several books on the fairies in collaboration with his wife, Kathleen, who coincidentally has found a fairy door in her kindergarten classroom. Hopefully it will be fun and informative to come back and see what's new with the Urban Fairies of Ann Arbor.
