Dicken Elementary School
Media Center

I bumped into the media specialist of Dicken Elementary (we used to say "librarian"), Connie Peurach today. I realized that I had never posted the pictures of the fairy door in Dicken's Media Center (Library). I visited way back in October of 2005!

It was Connie who tipped me off to the door there. If you have any questions about THAT one, you'll have to ask her, she is the expert.

She also did a wonderful literacy /art project with the 2nd graders there.

There have been letters from the fairy. The second graders each created a fairy door which opens to reveal their letter and a drawing of a fairy!

Unfortunately, on the day I visited Dicken, the fairy door had been damaged.
