Time is ticking for Holiday shopping. If you'd like a signed (or unsigned) copy of "Who's Behind the Fairy Doors?"... you'd better hurry. It takes 2-3 days to ship (within the USA). | ||||||||||||||

12.04.08> | Apparently it is that time of year again. I have been given the duty of disposing of the fairy money. That is to say Human money that has been left for the fairies over the past year. The fairies, except the tooth fairy(ies), don't have any use for it. Sure they tend to hord stuff, but I guess it gets too cluttered. So I now have this box filled with coins (and some bills). I washed the coins, as the often are stuck with jelly beans or gummi bears that have been out in the rain or snow. After taking some photos to document the event, I plan on dropping it off at Rockin' for the Hungry, as I did the last couple years. 2006 2007 and THIS YEAR... 2008 |

Rockin' for the Hungry
This year's event will take place December 3rd-7th, 2008! Weds-Sat 7am-7pm, Sun 10am-3pm at BUSCH's S. Main St. store in Ann Arbor Every year during the busy holiday food drive season, ann arbor's 107one FM and Busch’s team up to hold the largest annual food drive benefiting Food Gatherers. This event has evolved over the years, but the goal is still the same: collect as much food and funds as possible to help our neighbors in need. Our goal this year is 170 tons of nutritious food. |

OK, I followed the fairies' directive to pass along the "fairy booty" (heeheee) to someone who could actually use human money. I chose Food Gatherers' Rockin' For The Hungry. Chris Ammel of 107.1FM was kind (foolish) enough to allow me to speak on the radio and smart enough to pull me off! |

Lalalalalala... sittin' and waiting... getting new tires on the mini van. Luckily I am getting a bit of work done on the laptop. Prepping some pages for posting some more fairy door sightings outside of Ann Arbor. |
