Catching up a bit.
Yesterday, I looked in on the latest damage at the Public Library, which has already been repaired. I came across 3 boxes filled with coins, "gem stones" and a message... and turned them over to the proper custodians. I also dropped of a riser that I made, to better display the "Fairy Doors of Ann Arbor" posters at Sweetwaters, and made an interesting discovery.

Looks like the new book concept won't happen in time for Christmas, but on a more reasonable schedule we WILL have some produced in time for the Ann Arbor Book Festival in May 2007. Still no new fairy "shows" (tickets) at the Ark. The 9th urban fairy journal/gustbook has disapperaed from Sweetwaters Café. I left it on the counter on December 1, 2006. Bummer... I'll have to make a 10th.

SLACKER! I used to be posting updates (alomost) daily. I've had to do some end-of the year accounting stuff... BLECH! Squish my office space to half of this room (it's still pretty big) to make room for storage (not mine). Maybe the stored stuff will help insulate the place as I do not have heat (though it's been pretty mild, so far). I don't REALLY mind, it's just all that takes away from working on the good stuff! NOW...back to drawing, scanning, writing, updating...

I heard some rumours of urban fairies in central Florida. I wouldn't mind looking into that in person!

Merry Christmas, everyone! Happy boxing day, too. I can say "Christmas", because this is my web-site. I DO hope everyone had a happy one regardless of your "orientation". I have wondered a bit about the fairies. My "conclusion" (as it stands currently) is that the fairies, being neither animal nor human, do not partake in our belief systems even if they might be aware of them. HOWEVER, I imagine that they really dig the excitement of the Christmas season and all the sparkles, lights and TREATS!

Rats! I was going to add some pictures, but realized that I left my camera at home and we dropped off the "wildride" for service (stranded). Oh well... tomorrow perhaps. Plenty to do.

I left home without my camera AGAIN, but went back for it so I can at least post a picture of this year's Christmas tree.

There are often interesting items being left for the fairies... sometimes I see them, other times... nope. I did happen to see something a couple days ago.
I also noticed some more possible evidence of urban fairies downtown.
