BIG news! Not only are there urban-fairies around Ann Arbor, but I have made a sighting of a Bridge Troll!

Underneath the long decaying Stadium Boulevard bridge (over south State Street), there is a Troll, that I call Clarence. I am not sure how much longer he will remain there. The demolition of the bridges is scheduled for the end of October or beging of November.

As expected (sadly), Clarence has been trollnapped along with one of his signs.
Reconfirming my thoughts on orfans.

No, I do not believe it was the city, as it happened at night, the city barely gets things during the day.

I really enjoyed his company for the short time I knew him.

AMAZING! Clarence escaped his abductors!

Yesterday (Thursday, October 6, 2011) I drove by hoping to see the "MISSING" posters still up and there he was, copping a lean against his wall.

Perhaps the posters worked? I only received 2 e-mails, which were not really leads. They were a little bit funny.

I really didn't wish any (serious) harm on his tormentors. I am glad that they came to their senses (assuming they did) and let him go. A troll does not belong in a Frat house, dorm or even an apartment, no matter what sort of sty it is.

Clarence was mostly unharmed. He suffered a broken ankle and was somewhat bent out of shape, but who wouldn't be? I did what I could to restrain him. I'd like to say he is back for good, or at least until the bridge comes down. Perhaps he will find a place under the new bridge?

He did not bring his sign back with him, but he did keep a grip on the squirrel. I did replace his sign today.

It's nearly time for the annual appearance of the flying fairy pumpkin cottage!
I hope it returns again.
