10-30-2007. It's nearly Halloween & They're back on the porch! I brought home a pretty big and VERY heavy pumpkin for carving. Before I could whittle a face in it, there was a fairy cottage with a working chimney-stem and shuttered window-ears! Somewhat more elaborate than last year. |

With improvements to the porch itself, the Fairy Pumpkin Cottage returned. This year they used the bit of shell fromm the doorway as steps, for flightless visitors. (the skull finials are only seasonal) |
