ooooooo chilly! 58°F in my office! Got my no-finger gloves and space heaters on. (PRACTICALLY wearing the heaters). Makes me rethink this metal desk. Also makes drawing tuff. Typing of "drawing"!... I recorded a journal/guestbook entry this morning over at Sweetwaters Café. I haven't added to the journal page in a while (although there have been some good entries). ~jbw |

so I bought this themo-meter yesterday... it's nice to know that these space heaters DO make a difference. When I came in this moning it was 46°F in here.... INSIDE. At least the penguins seem to like it. ~jbw |

"Snow day" (cold day). If windchill is -25°F or lower they close the schools such that the kids waiting for buses and walking do not turn to ice sculptures. So the girls are home from school (all 3). It was 42° (ABOVE zero) in my office this morning, but after opening the doors to the adjacent warehouse and turning on the heaters, it's already 52° ..... | |||||||||

| The weather gets me to thinking about fairy anatomy/biology... I suppose that being weensie, they might have higher metabolisms (like mice)... combined with all the sweeties they seem to be ingesting, I bet they generate considerable energy. Never-the-less I bet they are "laying low".

Hurray! Got pemission slips for posting some photos of the flat fairies visit to Mrs. Wright's kindergarten class. I noted that the flat fairy page has grown to non-fairy proportions... so I busted it into two. Hopefully that will speed the loading. ~jbw |

Making great progress on the books! Also just did a phone interview with Metro Mode Media... an article about businesses and Art. I don't know much about "art", visual communication, yes. Some of his questions/comments did get me thinking. He felt that the fairy doors were miniature works of art...? Funny that some of them are less interesting than human sized counterparts, which we totally take for granted. hmmmm.... ~jbw |
