It is October! The month when we have the annual visit of the urban-fairy Fairy Pumpkin Cottage!

I hope to see it again this year (this month). I have begun work on a book detailing some of the history of the Fairy Pumpkin Cottage and its background.

I just received the following e-mail:

Hi

I am writing to let you know that I am currently offering the domain name fairy-doors.com for purchase.

I would be willing to offer you complete ownership of fairy-doors.com for a one time payment of only $ 995 USD. This domain could be used for email purposes, to redirect to your current website or even to track specific marketing campaigns. It could also be extremely helpful in building search engine rankings for this specific keyword. This would be a powerful marketing tool while also creating valuable type-in traffic to your existing website.

If you would like to purchase this domain name or have any questions please reply to this message as soon as possible as I have emailed many parties who would benefit from this domain and expect a fast sale.

An escrow service can be used for the transaction to give you complete peace of mind and provide protection for both parties involved.

Thanks for taking the time to read this message and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

I find that a gross example of opportunistic capitalistic bottom feeding. It came from "down under", by the way, so it is not only an American thing.

I'd sooner call the fairy doors "Canned Squirrel" before giving that person any money.

A nice article was just posted in The Michigan Daily. yay!

Some disturbing news from another news publication.
Who supposedly, "...are currently in the process of getting some fairy doors installed..."

In my experience, the fairies are much more discrete than that!
I have a baaaaad feeling that this might not be the work of fairies!

I was lucky enough to catch a Bee-Bear. (without being stung or bitten).

A Bee-Bear is just what you might think.... part bee and part bear.
As it turns out this is the brain child of a genetic-engineering artist, Aleah Klay.

Once I am came into position of this Bee-Bear I followed it around as it visited several of the urban-fairy fairy doors in Ann Arbor.

They're Back! Last night a bright light caught my attention. When I went outside I saw the Fairy Pumpkin Cottage had returned (though it was made from a fresh pumpkin).

Uh Oh! It seem that not only fairies are getting into the spirit of the season. However, the goblins are pretty much ALWAYS in that spirit.
