Is it done yet? Is it? How about now?
By "it", I mean "Who's Behind the Fairy Doors?"
. The disc went to the printer on Friday. Of course they said it would be about 4 weeks. No patience (me).

Must focus on other pressing stuff. AhhhahAHHAhAHhahA*ack* *cof*
"PRESSING stuff"...heeehee! get it? PRESSING...printing press? *whew* funny, yes?.... funny,no.

I posted a few European blogs that I stumbled on.

I have added an EVENTS page, so that people can see what is coming up (assuming it is scheduled) and also see what they might have missed, or look back fondly on past happenings.

On-line sales (using PayPal) are now possible on the STUFF TO GET page.

There has been a bit of confusion around the schedule of events for the Ann Arbor Book Festival... at least as to Urban Fairies involvement. There is still some planning happening, but as it stands now:

May 1-18:
Scavenger Hunt
to area bookstores, libraries, and fairy door establishments. (details to be announced).

Saturday, May 19:
Street Festival 10am - 5pm

Author readings, panels, and signings to take place in the Modern Language Building and in Street Pavilions.
<<< This is when/were we will have our table set up).

Sunday, May 20: (Times and locations TBD)
Activities for children and general interest authors, featuring a panel discussion on the writer/illustrator relationship for children's books; 826michigan hosting bookmaking activities for parents and children
; and more!

I checked the digital proofs for "Who's Behind the Fairy Doors?" at the printers on Monday. If all goes as planned, the books will be available at various businesses in Ann Arbor, on-line and on Saturday at our table.

I received some wonderful e-mails with photos of evidence of fairies moving in with a family in Brighton, Michigan.

ANOTHER event on the EVENTS page... it's a special fundraiser auction for Food Gathers.

I received (and shipped)
my first on-line order via PayPal. Thank you James! I was very pleased to see that it worked.

Yikes! At this rate I will have to devote an entire page to the Urban Fairies of Brighton (Michigan). I have added a 3rd Fairy finders page. I moved some of the finders from the 2nd to the 3rd (to speed loading) and posted the latest finders, who look curiously familiar. hmmmmm

Ok I'm annoyed... no, not "annoying"... well... ok, maybe I am annoying,
but right now I am annoyed. And some people seem to think that
I have too much time on my hands! At least I try to be constructive. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Happily, there are a lot of nice people around and I have plenty to be thankful for.

Still simmering. It looks like the urban fairies made repairs at Peaceable Kingdom. I am amazed that the scrap of wood was found... but fairies probably have sharper eyes than mine. No wonder that fairy migration has slowed down... most of their time must be spent making repairs. I would guess that they would also be hesitant to build more, only to have it trashed. It's not as if they are Doozers™ Living amongst Fraggles™.

I am learning a bit more about web "programing"... so, over time, I will be trying to make the site more "friendly". The FAQs page was built in an easy (for me) fashion, such that it had too much code. It should load faster now... and I made a separate
"Making Contact" page. Eventually, I will put some design effort into it.

BOOKS! in 2 days.
